Please tell us more about your role and / or your startup.

It is called PasswordPing. How the product works: When users of a website sign up for an online account, it not only checks the strength of their password, but also screens it against a database of 1.4 Billion hacked passwords. It notifies the user if the password is known and compromised. It keeps users informed if their password has been exposed to prevent hackers from accessing their account. We launched a few weeks ago!

How long have you been in that role?

I am a founder of PasswordPing since September 2016.

How do you balance a startup with your personal life?

I have a day job but work on PasswordPing during the night and weekends. It's tough to balance, but exciting to be creating something that will help people be safer online.

You play an integral role in your startup. Can you please tell us more about what the startup does? How does it work? Can anyone join?

It is aimed at web developers, software product managers and IT security professionals who work for large companies or small with an online presence.

What is the most challenging part about what you do? How do you overcome that challenge?

Balancing a day job with an off hours job is a lot of time spent working. But I think the toughest part is getting work out about your product and how it can help people.
