But the good news is that it won’t be long before online gaming jumps back up to its feet and starts climbing back to popularity! However, today I am going to talk about 2 of my favourite online solitaire games that I have found over the web that I JUST can’t seem to stop playing Klondike Solitair I have played a lot of solitaire games over the years that have been awful to good but Klondike Solitaire is that one of a kind game that keeps coming back to me. I have longed for a classic solitaire experience with a little modern touch to make my time worthwhile and Klondike seems to be just the game I was looking for. The simple yet appealing art style that developers have gone for really makes for a pleasant experience. In solitaire you have to stack a shuffled deck into four foundation stacks in ascending order from ace to king and most developers don’t realise that this simple game would ONLY be loved by people if it stays SIMPLE. Another reason why I love Klondike solitaire is that it is really intense; the rule of subtracting points after every 30 seconds just adds up to the collective intensity of the game. That is why it genuinely gets very challenging at different points in the game. However Klondike is a rather easier version of solitaire but it is still always up for giving a tough time to its players. Spider Solitaire There is another version of solitaire on solitaire.org that I really like and that is spider solitaire. I know you are wondering why SPIDER solitaire? That is actually because there are eight foundation piles that resemble the 8 legs of a spider. The Spider Solitaire game automatically deals your cards after you choose your stack counter. If you don’t like your cards or if you are actually stuck, you can always deal a whole new shuffled stack of cards. You get to draw cards as many times as you like. I have been practicing on 1 suite for a while and I seriously don’t think any other version of solitaire is as hard as spider solitaire. It’s easy to get started with but very hard to master, especially when you play the 4 suit game, which is super challenging but definitely worth trying. Along with a nice interface, the game is visually appealing as well. I have spent a lot of my time playing this game and it just keeps pushing me harder to do better.
Which one Should you Play? Both are equally fun to play but it all comes down to difficulty, so if you are just starting out with Solitaire games, I recommend you go with Klondike but if you want to challenge yourself and put your solitaire skills to the ultimate test, Spider Solitaire is the one to go for! |
